Conscious Cravings: Dairy Free Banana Split

Just recently Eden and I made one of my favorite desserts. I’m really excited to share it with you.


There is no reason to deprive yourself of yummy desserts because you are eating a whole-foods based diet. There are so many delicious and simple ways to treat yourself.



Dairy Free Banana Split Recipe


Ingredients:

4 medium ripe bananas

1/2 cup nut butter

1/4 cup Greek yogurt • (Coyo brand)

1/4 cup granola (divided)

1/2 cup berries of choice (divided)

4 tsp hemp seeds (divided)

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes (divided)

Optional: Add other fresh fruit


Directions:

Peel bananas and use a knife to carefully cut a slit down the center of each to create an opening without completely slicing through.


Top with nut butter of choice, then yogurt, granola, berries, hemp seeds, and coconut flakes.


Best served fresh. Can cover and store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.


You could also slice and freeze leftovers for up to 1 month for adding to smoothies.
